VIDEO: Post Raaz Reboot Leak Reports, Emraan Hashmi Urges Fans To Give It A ‘Fair Chance’
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Piracy continues to rule the roost
Last night, the makers of Raaz Reboot were in for a shock after
reports of it having leaked online, days before its release, began doing the
rounds. The lead actor of the film, Emraan Hashmi, swung into action and took
to Twitter to request his fans to watch the film only in theatres.
He followed it up with a heartfelt message, urging audiences to
give this film a ‘fair chance’ as a lot of hard work goes into making a film.
Emraan’s post also spoke about the rampant problem of piracy that
has been plaguing the industry for a while. In the past, Shahid Kapoor, Alia
Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh-starrer Udta Punjab, Salman Khan’s
Sultan and Great Grand Masti featuring Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab
Shivdasani in lead roles have been leaked online. While Sultan remained largely
unaffected, the other two films had to pay the price of the mishap.
We will have to wait and watch if the fourth instalment of the
Raaz franchise is affected by the scenario. Besides Emraan, the film stars
Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora in pivotal roles. It releases on September 16.
